Tool-use protocol
- ▸Speak first, then compare: record yourself on each dialogue card BEFORE reading the model answer — both go into the archive
- ▸Writing and translation are hand-drafted first, polished second; both versions archived so progress is visible
- ▸All periodic assessments are done unaided
What we measure, and how
- ▸Completed ≠ passed: vocabulary and expressions get a 2-4 week retention check
- ▸Monthly speaking comparison: the same dialogue card, last month vs this month
- ▸The parent report covers real mastery and minutes-spoken, not check-in counts
Weekly commitment
About 3-4 hours/week: 15-20 minutes of speaking daily + two bilingual academic/project blocks. School comes first; exam weeks auto-reduce to speaking only.
Division of labor with school & current programs
| School curriculum & exams | School and current programs | We do not duplicate |
| Chinese ↔ US curriculum mapping | Neither side teaches this | Our foundation |
| Academic English & speaking volume | Class hours are never enough | Our mainline |
| Whole-person work you can SHOW | Hard to keep records of | Our output |

Pedagogical claims on this page are evidence-graded (spaced retrieval, output-based learning, comparable recordings are all high-evidence); effects on admissions or test scores are reasonable inference — we make no individual-outcome promises.
